Camping in the GBM Campground
Camping in the campground is FREE. You must have your Windsor Weekend wristband on your wrist at all times.
NO GLASS BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED AT THE GRAND BEND MOTORPLEX.
Broken glass can destroy very expensive race tires.
Pit Parking Stickers
PIT PARKING STICKERS ARE NOT PIT PASSES.
Every Windsor Weekend wristband is a Pit Pass. All spectators are allowed to walk into the pits and socialize with the racers during the days racing. If, however, you would like to camp in the pits with the racers, you will require a Pit Parking Sticker.
Pit Parking Stickers can be purchased, at the main gate, for $40. This is $40 in addition to your Windsor Weekend wristband.
Pit parking is very limited and is in designated areas only. You will be asked to move if you are in a spot that is needed by a racer.
DO NOT PIT IN A PIT AREA THAT HAS A YELLOW LINE ALONG THE ROAD, These spots are permanent pit sites belonging to racers. Just because they are not there doesn’t mean its yours. If that racer shows up to watch or hang out, we will make you move. Avoid the hassle, don’t park there!!
If you are in the pits, Pit Parking Pass stickers must be stuck on your vehicle windshield, or you will be asked to leave the pits.
Remember, every Windsor Weekend wristband is a Pit Pass. Feel free to wander around anywhere and look at the cars and meet the drivers.
Avoid walking on the paved pit roads as much as possible as they are used by racecars getting to and from the track. Be cautious and courteous.
Pit Parking Stickers and Racers
Each money class racer gets a pit pass for his rig and 2 additional. Trophy class cars get 1 total. Additional pit parking is a available for $40. Pit camping may be in designated areas only. For example, if you have one 12 second racecar and five 38 foot 5th wheel trailers taking up ½ an acre of prime pit area on the paved return road, you will be asked to move. This is a racetrack not a campground so be courteous of others needs.
DO NOT PIT IN A PIT AREA THAT HAS A YELLOW LINE ALONG THE ROAD, These spots are permanent pit sites belonging to other racers. Just because they are not there doesn’t mean its yours. If that racer shows up to watch or hang out, we will make you move. Avoid the hassle, don’t park there!!
If you are racing, come when your class is called ready to race and stay with your car. Don’t drive up park in the back of the lane and go for pizza.
Pit vehicles are for transportation, not cruising.
A fully piped 2 stroke quad or dirt bike, for example, is not pit transportation in our opinion.
If you are caught riding recklessly you will be given the option of surrendering the vehicle for the weekend or leaving without a refund.
